The Carpet House Singapore ("we", "us") respects your privacy and handles personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). This notice explains what we collect through this website and how we use it.
What we collect
- Enquiries. The enquiry forms on this site do not store anything on our website. They open WhatsApp on your device with your details filled in; nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp. When you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, we receive your name, number or email address, photos of your rug, and your address if you book a pickup.
- Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are viewed and how many people tap the WhatsApp or call buttons. This uses cookies and collects information such as your device type, browser and approximate location. It does not tell us who you are. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying visitors.
- Advertising. If you reach us through a Google ad, Google may record that your visit led to an enquiry, so we can measure whether our ads work.
How we use it
We use your details only to reply to you, quote, collect and return your rug, and keep simple records of the work done. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it except with service providers we rely on to run the business (such as WhatsApp, Google and our email provider) or where the law requires.
Customer reviews
We only publish a customer's message on this site with their permission. We show first name and last initial only, and blur phone numbers and profile photos.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent, by emailing us.
